Wildfire Restaurant, the chef for which was my Iron Chef cooking partner at the NationalFoundation for Celiac Awareness’s Gluten Free Cooking Spree, is hosting a gluten free wine dinner on August 11. I’ll be joining executive chef Steven Lukis to share advice on living the gluten free good life in D.C. In between courses, he’ll share details on the wine and food pairings, and I’ll provide some tid-bits about what to watch out for in your favorite barbeque, or how to make sure you’re ordering safe options when out to eat. The four course meal is priced at $55 per person and includes wine, gratuity and tax. I’m looking forward to the appetizer and the dessert, personally, but the menu seems like a great night out.
Buy tickets online at www.wildfirerestaurant.com.
Hope to see you there. If not, I’ll be sure to report back.

This is Nikky, the lady in red at the end of the table. I had a really nice time tonight. The food was fantastic, and the company was enthusiastic and helpful. See you soon!
