The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness is hosting its next Gluten Free Cooking Spree in Washington, D.C. The fundraiser on May 1 will feature local medical professionals, chefs, reporters and food vendors whipping up their best GF entrees that event guests get to taste and later judge.
Event organizers promise you won’t go home hungry (and they’ll send you home with a goodie bag, too). Look for the DC Gluties if you go. A few of us may be in the crowd, tasting and judging whatever we can get our hands on.
Even better, you’ll get to hear from NCFA’s Scientific Advisory Board Member, Dr. Bob Anderson who will discuss recent clinical trials in Australia to identify a vaccine for celiac. Imagine, whole wheat toast for breakfast
Don’t wait to register. The early bird deadline expires next week (April 24).
