This Saturday, March 15 is Shamrockfest 2008 at RFK Stadium. Thanks to some fantastic people over at Hi-Ball Events, Redbridge beer will be available!!! They have agreed to have a couple of cases of Redbridge gluten-free beer on hand at each of the five beer distribution stands in the main event area (not VIP). Given the scale of this event, there are thousands of employees working, so don’t be surprised if the person working the beer stand is a bit confused when you inquire. Just have patience to explain and wait.

Beer! Oh, the things you miss being a Celiac…

I would love to see some local bars stocking some GF beer.
The response from Hi-Ball Events for our gluten-free needs was amazing. Not only did they have Redbridge beer available at every beer stand throughout the day, they never had an issue stopping what they were doing to get a bottle from the case. It made my experience 100 percent more enjoyable. Now, if only they can share their gluten friendliness with local bars, the new Nationals’ stadium, RFK, the Verizon Center … hmmm, all of those places that make us drink cheap wine!
